Foresite Group was commissioned to develop a Safe Systems-based plan in compliance with Effingham County’s Safe Streets for All (SS4A) initiative. This action plan represents the initial step in identifying challenges and implementing solutions to enhance safety across Effingham. The development process involves collaboration with stakeholders to gather data, formulate alternatives, and propose recommendations. Key outcomes of the SS4A Plan include comprehensive data management, policy suggestions, and a prioritized list of capital improvement projects aimed at improving safety countywide. Upon completion, these projects will be eligible for funding through various channels, including federal grants and local resources.
