MetroGroup Development is proposing to develop a CVS/pharmacy in the south-west quadrant of the intersection of SR 5 and Central Church Road in Douglas County, Georgia. A traffic impact study was prepared that recommended a few improvements to the intersections and the property driveways. Recommendations from the traffic study were incorporated in the traffic engineering study that was submitted along with the signal design plans. A preliminary traffic engineering report was also prepared. The signal design plans and the timing report were submitted and approved by GDOT and Douglas County. The signal timing implementation will be achieved after the proposed signal upgrades are installed.
